One Problem's Solution Fixes Another
I have a '98 Honda Accord, V6. Great car. 127,000 miles with no major problems at all. (Knocking on wood.) About 2 years ago, my fuel gauge started acting up. Whenever I filled the car full of gas, the gauge would stop at 3/4-full. It may sometimes go up to the Full mark, but only for a minute or two. I was told that it was likely a faulty sending unit in the gas tank. Well, I got used to the fuel gauge reading and never took it in to have it fixed.
Recently, I had to get the brake light switch replaced. After that was done, my fuel gauge started back acting normal...giving me an accurate reading. Though I am grateful, I can't help but wonder how replacing the brake light switch caused my fuel gauge problem to go away.
Any thoughts? Thanks.

here is another,
we had a honda shuttle in with the abs light on and we could not get a code out with the computer or with the 2 pin jumper so we looked in the workshop manual and it said to check the fuse for the electric door mirorrs. we checked the fuse and found that it had blown so we fitted a new fuse and was able to get a code out of the abs. what the hell has the door mirrors got to do with the abs.
