Default suspension info please

hey, i'm new to this car, i'm trying to get it together for my little brother. we're doind a zc swap and i've found a lot of really good info on that. but what i haven't found enough of is suspension info. i've heard that a lot of suspension parts from other makes/years are interchangeable with my ef hatch. can anyone confirm this and give as many examples as you can? and are there any good sites that have a lot of stuff about suspension parts? i want to replace the old bushings with poly urethane bushings but i haven't been able to find a kit. i've also read that installing a fat rear sway bar helps a lot with the understeer, any suggestions as to which one to use? and same with strut tower bars. any information would help out a lot! we plan to make it a good autox car but we're on a bit of a budget. thanks.

you can put bigger brakes on the front from a integra, as well as the rear discs if you have drums, you can put on suspension from a 92-95 civic or 94- integra if you use the civic or integra front forks

the control arm that goes behind the motor but above the exhaust can be changed out for one off an integra here is a picture of the sway bar for the integra, it's the one in back http://www.tornactive.com/pd_p...c.cfm

the factory crx one is about half that size(in thickness).

For some part interchange info you can try Ben Ogle's site: http://www.ef-honda.com/ben/ After reading that, it may give you some keywords to search for on this forum.

Chris Shenefield won the SCCA Solo2 2002 STS National Championship in an ED hatch. He listed the entire setup info on his site: http://www.redshiftmotorsports.com/ChrisTech.htm I believe he's now building a SM version of an ED hatch, but don't expect to get that info until after the car has been proven...

You can also search the STS boards on http://www.sccaforums.com.

Of course a motorswap will likely put you into Street Modified (D Modified if you are gutted). But since the 89-91 Civic Si is the STS class overdog, there are many setup discussions on this chassis and you can apply them to your setup.

The front sway-bar swap mentioned above might not be the best choice for an autocross ED chassis Honda. The sites above may shed some light on this reasoning and you can decide for yourself.
