I got a problem with my winterbeater, My stock EM on my -89 1.6 had three 4" cracks so obviously the car didn't run well. Of course it needed replacing,

Will a D16Z6 EM + b-pipe fit the D16A6 engine and fit heightwise and lengthwise to reach the cat?

We tried earlier today with a ZC EM and home made B-pipe (that i bought from a friend who had it on his CRX D16Z5 (DOHC EDM)) Of course it was all wrong for my sohc civic... 4-5" to short horizontally and 1" short vertically, All wrong.

yes it will work and bolt up fine.

 

It will work and bolt up fine, but its eventually going to rub a hole in the oil pan, so either put a small dent in the pan, or use a z6 pan. I kno this from experience.
