Default Help gettin transaxle off of my engine!

Alright... I spent 3 damn hours today just trying to get the transaxle off my damn JDM GSR engine... what the hell is the deal? I took all the bolts out and even used a car jack to try and get the bell housing lose.... is it just corroded to the engine? Anyone have any insight? I just wanna change the clutch and flywheel....

Starter off?
Dust shield off?
Bolts from engine to tranny on backside out?

could be worse, I dropped out a tranny from car, forgot to unhook the VSS connector. That was a PITA! No "extra" on the wiring harness to work with.

what is the best method for flushing the tranny? I want to make sure i get all the old crap out of it. should i just buy some extra fluid and pour it thru then drain again?

VSS = Vehicle Speed Sensor

oh... how does that stop the transaxle from coming off? I have the entire harness removed so there arent any wires on it.

never said it hindered removall of the tranny. Just ripping 3 wires out of the connector, then trying to fisx is a PITA

use fresh honda MTF and change it after 100 or so miles.
after I put in my used ITR LSD, I did this and the first 100 miles resulted in a lot of soot in the MTF. the next load of MTF stayed clean as honey for a long time.
