Do i really need to take my rims off for winter. I always see people riding around with their rims on during winter, and i wanna know why, cuz i think there gonna ruin there rims. But is it really a necessity. I live in OHIO so we do get snow, well sometimes, not this year. Anyway, i heard that the salt will eat at the clearcoat on my wheels, so i should take em off, so i did this year, but next year im thinkin bout leavin em on.

 

Put a GOOD coat of wax over the clearcoat surface.

So far no white death.

 

just try to keep them as clean as possible...rinse them off every once in a while
