I am looking to get a set of clear tail lights for my '85 ranger (winter vehicle, as opposed to my 'teg). Anyway, wondering if anyone has had clear tail lights and what their experiences were with them involving the law. I know clear tail lights stand out, and seem like they would get you pulled over for sure, but wanted some opinions.

 

generally, i think they're a safety hazard. but laws and enforcement vary widely from area to area.... in cali, they'll be on your *** in no-time. dunno bout your part of the woods tho....

 

i had a set of clear taillights on my ej back in 98 and only got i ticket for it... but then again they were clear for only a month before i sprayed the top half of the tails red...
