ITR engine harness fit a GSR engine ?
well my question is simple has anyone ever done this ? if so what wires did you have to extend or shorten and were all the plugs present that were needed ?
harness was from a 2000 ITR and is to be used in a 2001 GSR
this car will be a 100% stock car and i don't want problems with the check engine light coming on so if anyone can help me out i would appreciate it ...

Is this a stock GS-R engine w/ stock manifold and everything? If so, you won't have the harnesses to run the intake butterfly's.
yes this is a totally stock car
if anyone has a GSR harness for this car let me know i will buy it ... local prefered

how would i go about doing this ? what wires do i splice/add to make it work ?
btw i got it running and it runs ok just need to take care of that last plug ...

or do you guys think i should just go with a skunk 2 intake manifold to solve this problem ...i can get one for 185 new .. sound ok ?
yes get a skunk2 manifold...
the wires on the ITR should actually be longer for the IACV and EVAP, but they should all fit in the stock GSR locations, only extra slack.
if you get a Skunk2 manifold you dont need to worry about the secondary butterflies Vaccum source box.
BTW, when I did my Skunk2 manifold on my GSR, I had to extend the wires to the IACV which was a bitch... if in your case using a type r harness it should already be long enough.
