What do you mean by better "feel"? Better ride, or better handling?
Sport springs are stiffer than stock, which makes for improved handling. They are stiff enough to keep the suspension from bottoming out at the lower ride height, but the rates are still soft to maintain a more comfortable ride.
Race springs sacrifice the ride quality to concentrate more on the handling aspect - the rates are stiffer to eliminate most of the body roll. The stiff rates allow a lower ride height without bottoming out. Depending on the rates, the ride can be pretty harsh.
Remember to use aftermarket "sport" dampers (KYB AGX, Tokico Illumina, Bilstein, or Koni Sport/yellow) to control whichever springs you choose to get.
