Default Water in Proj. Headlights

I'm upset....not even 6 month old projectors and they're getting water in them . What to do??...I got them from k2motors on ebay. I'm contacting them now...but i don't know what to get now. Most of my car is alteeza so i didn't wanna go for the dark jdm headlight look. This might be the wrong forum, but anybody know how to get a good set of non-stock headlights?

Most likely it isnt going to help to contact them, theyre probably going to give you the finger and tell you your SOL, best thing to do is just take the headlight off, drain the water, and get some silicone and re-apply it around the edges and make a water tight seal.....its real simple, dont make too big of a deal out of it

I did that tho, and for some damn reason, it's back again, not as bad, but it's still there. And that's not the what really gets to me, the one headlight that gets a lot more water in it has a yellow tint to it and it now looks like ****, maybe i should just go back to stock.

Instead of paying a couple hundred dollars and buying some headlights, you know what i did? I took my stock ones apart carefully, got my friends special paint and made a gunmetal housing, looks beautiful....would post pics but no digital camera....in your case you can do the same or just take it apart and take out the parking light reflector

Like i told the other guy, just take em off and re-silicone it to ensure it doesnt happen to yours and it shouldnt happen....usually most aftermarket headlights will fog up or have water get into it...at least thats what ive noticed

What about if I do the good 'ol drill a hole out in the back of the headlight trick? I think I might go this route for now...

Do what you want, its your headlights, but personally i dont relish the thought of a hole being drilled into the back of my headlight

this is what you get for buying cheap, aftermarket projector rice housings.

expect problems to occur with cheap parts.

but to each his own i guess....

Word of advice: Before you install any type of aftermarket light, whether it be headlights or taillights, just use silicone around the seal before installing them.

Good tips....should and will do in the future. I don't know about how cheap everyone else's were, but i paid over 200 for them...and they were the cheapest that I could find, i didn't get the shitty e-bay one's either. That's sorta why i'm pissed
