Pics of new little mods. SIR Cluster/PowerStop rotors .....
http://midnightperformance.com/royal.html
Finally got the SIR cluster in, rewired everything and works great, except I still gotta add an electronic speed sensor and get rid of the speed cable. Spins freely right now. I mainly need the tach cuz it goes up to 9500 RPM. All 88-91 Us clusters only go to 8000.
Waiting for ECU to come back soon hopefully by next week so I can run Jan 6th.
Powerstop rotors with Metal Axxis Pads are pretty cool. They stop well.

Looks good! You got 2 differents wheels on both sides or you have 2 sets of wheels? What do you need and how do you do a leak down test anyways?

Nah, only mobbin the slipstreams right now. Sold the CP-R's. THe leakdown test was the gauge just showing good compression and no leakage. It was used when putting in the valve springs and retainters. One man job if you have the right tools and an air compressor to holds the valve springs up. No need to take the head off.
The SiR cluster bolts in, but the wiring is what is tedious. You've basically got to re-pin the whole thing because the JDM unit uses competely different connectors than the US cluster. Then there is the task of getting the little "door open" diagram thing to work right....
EBAY. A guy has a bunch of them on there. $150 buy it now. But beware, like the last guy said, it's tedious work. The door diagram on the passenger side you have to run another wire from there to make it work.

I agree. I went through two bumpers and they both fit badly. Mine still doesn't fit right, gotta do some fiberglass work. =/
