Just wondering if anyone ever tried this setup I need a tranny bad.

haven't tried that but it'll work. just remember, you'll need the prelude flex plate and the torque converter too. i had a h23 tranny w/ my f22 a few months back and used the prelude flex plate/tc

you will also need the H series kickdown cable. the accord cable is too small.

hey luis, is that totally necessary? cuz i don't have it and i'm fine. only problem is when i shift from park to any gear it catches really fast.

without a kickdown cable when you romp on the gas it wont drop down a gear...

TOAB answered for me. But if its working for you, then dam keep it that way. My cable wouldnt reach with enough slack, so when i opened the TB plate all the way my tranny lever wouldnt go up all the way. that make sense? Making gear changes slow or just not right

also shifting from P to any gear doesnt have anything to do with the cable, I dont think. Since it only works when you press the gas.
