My problem is when the car is off, and i have accesories running the battery tends to drain almost instantly. If i turn my stereo up the hu cuts out, only if the car is off, like it's not getting enough power, if the car is on no cut out. Also when i went to get in the car this morning battery was cooked, so i had to bump start it, If i let it run for a couple of minutes it starts just fine, like normal so i think the alt is oK

Help would be great!

 

if your batt is about 5 yrs old. replace it.

 

same thing happend to me but i replaced the battery and it was all good
at least ur car didnt die out on the top of a canyon road

we had to roll it down and kick start it

you mayhave cells dropping, and it is no longer holding a charge. i would replace it with a yellow top if you have lots of accessories.

 

if the alt is working then it sounds like its not holding the charge.... Time for a replacement!!!

 

Yep replaced the battery last night, started better than it did since i owned the car, so i'm gonna have to say that's the cause. Thanks for the help yo guys
