twin loop clamping issue?
i've had the mugen twin loop cat-back installed for almost a year now, and what i've noticed is when i have 4 people in the car(including myself) during speed bumps or slow cornering, that the exhaust is slightly clamped down on by the lower control arm or the rear right wheel.
There is no indentation at this time(but maybe because lately when i was driving with 4 people, and when i cornered i heard a metal scraping sound
won't know till i raise the car again)
anyhow due to the heat of the exhaust, the covering on the lower control arm(maybe the rust proof agent?) has started to melt off revealing the metal.
im considering in removing the rear seat.
my question's are what is the weight of the back seat?
and secondly would the reduce weight change the balance of the car or is it too insignificant?
also would the car ride be raised at the back?
i have been running stock suspension all along, and the roads in australia are not to crash hot.
thanks again for the input!

Weight of the rear seats & backs is about 20 lbs. I would't think there would be a significant effect in removing them in terms of it handling. It's a marginal weight removal, plus its in the middle of the car.
Edit:I wouldn't think your muffler would get hot enough to melt the paint off the LCA. Maybe its just rubbing? Simple solution to that is to tweak your hangers.
