well becuase im tired of stupid people who dont know **** about this lsd and merely complain its obx it sucks... i give you this:

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=925949&page=5

99Hybrid_Hatch blew away his third gear on this diff but the dif was fine, then on page 6 he ran it at the track in his 600whp civic and droppped the clutch at 7k and the diff was fine.

Stick that in your pipe and ****** smoke it

You're saying since some of us "stupid people" think and say OBX sucks, we dont know jack about what an LSD is??

All we're saying is OBX has a reputation for being crappy. They dont use exceptional materials, and often they only look presentable. If that dude's OBX LSD has held up with 700hp, and clutch drops at 7k, then so be it. One person's luck will not justify a whole companies reputation for sucking. Im sorry man, i think you are crazy for even thinkin about installing an OBX LSD. just be patient and go the extra mile for a quaife lsd, it'll take what you throw at it and has a lifetime warranty.

OBX offers a lifetime warranty for these and when you have cheap *** kids buying these there going to use it if at all possible - so they do have faith in them

LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT THOUGH - OBX does not have 1 manufacturing plant that I am aware of (they cant afford too) OBX and APC and alot of other companies buy from contractors for the bulk of there parts. For all anyone is aware the manufacturer of Quaife moddified the casing size and material just enough to not break a manufacturers contract about making competing parts or to infringe on there pantent for it.

So far it seems at least a couple of people have all had good results so maybe you should reserve your judgements for parts you've actually tried your selves ?
