Default PROUD OWNER OF A 97 CIVIC EJ COUPE! =)

I've gotten this car COMPLETELY stock when i just turned 16, i got it for cheap with a clean titled, 150k's miles, back in 2002 for $2650 (stock civic EX). Still stock color and everything. My PROJECT/GOALS were to reach 12' sec by the end of senior year, (I was a sophmore at the time i got my car) I've worked my *** off buying parts from paycheck to paycheck. Spent countless hours working on the motor. It's my senior year, and i want to my car to be a 12sec ALL MOTOR by the end of my senior year, w/a stock bottom block, and a built b18b bottom on the way.. doesnt mean there is a "coupe type r lip" there was no COUPE type r in japan . . so wtf? i cant even see what it is from the picture

to me it looks more like a 99-00 replica lip than a "almight type r rear lip"

It's essentially a OEM optional rear lip, but a fake because the original owner spent all his money on a CF hatch.
JDM **** makes a ITR replica lip for the 92-95 front ends that look like a hideous 99-00 CTR/Civic SI lip and so on.. ITR replica is just a name they give it.

ctr or what ever u wanna call it, i got it off EBAY. fitment is nice though =P

i dont think it's a waste of time going NA LS, because no one i know around me has done it. and people will be surprise to what a NA non vtec motor can do...
