Default Some pics from tonight--- DavidNYC doing a spring change

Well there is not much to say except thanks for the rims and tires!!!
I washed the worst one and it could use a little more elbow grease but should make a full recovery

And then helped by holding the flashlight so he could change the springs in his caR for the Summit point event coming up this weekend

Here are the pics.

Yes, scars from
1. A garage door opener falling on the car in 2001. Note to Sears installation guy... corner bead is NOT structural steel !!
2. Driver side front fender...Phil of Phil's tire service Turn 1 Summit Point.
3. Driver side front fender, Driver door, Driver rear 1/4 panel, Driver rear bumper... Curpier of Curpier Motorsports, Turn 1 Summit Point
4. Bent radiator support...Turn 1 Summit Point gravel PIT (Tow strap and telephone poll straighten things up nicely )

hmmmm there seems to be a theme... Turn 1 Summit Point...

No, I am usually not ALLOWED to work on my car... I kind of skip a few steps here and there, and things get bent...sorry Aaron

Actually, I am ok with a wrench. I used to work on my race bicycle (Kestrel 200sci) and freestyle BMX bike years ago. I have installed most small things on my car (suspension, interior stuff, oil cooler, etc.). Big stuff (clutch, anything electrical) I leave for those who know what they are doing.

I sold Kosei's K1's to Bbasso. I have four sets and didn't need this fourth set.

Yes, you finally get the 12K springs. (I am not sure what deal you had with Marc, however you can pick them up whenever... either late tonight or tomorrow)

Anyone want to buy a set of 10K springs? (8", 2.5"ID)

My new setup (800lb/14K F, 950lb/17K R)

Yeah, I don't have the a socket that fits the bolt on the diff of the S2K. I had it jacked up, pump in gear oil, everything ready to go... doh! No socket. That thing is huge! Maybe a 23mm or 24mm? I am just going to go to Jiffy Lube and get it done. Don't have the time.

David, are those springs the same as the TEIN RS ones? If so I may want the 10. I am currently using 12 front and 14 rear and may switch to 10 front 12 rear.

Relax, I'm sure he was concerned that we'd cause too much of a ruckus in his neighborhood.

You're certainly not alone.

The first time I met Warren ****, he had just gone off the end of the runway.
