i just got a crx on monday and on the way home i ran outta gas. and now the damn thing wont start. its a d16y8 block with z6 head and y8 intake manifold....

is there some certain way to bleed the gas lines or something? any suggestions?

 

put more gas in ... ?

I did that once; it was actually a funny situation but that's besides the point. Just add fresh gas and injector cleaner, and then turn key to ignition letting the fuel pressurize a couple times. START car, make note never to do it again.

If it still doesn't start, then you may have to change fuel filter.

 

it should start if you just pressurize it a few times b4 you go to start it.. just turn the key to on but not starting.. let the fuel pump kick on, then turn it off and do it a few more times. then it should start

 

Running these cars too low on gas is asking for trouble. Last Saturday I was running on E like I usually do and was going up a transition freeway ramp after work (4:30 am) when I ran out of gas!! The ramp was inclined enough to stall out the car. I was pissed!! I ended up having someone bring me gas and ended up getting home around 8am. It's not happening again.

 

thats why u keep a 2L bottle of spare gas.
