tranny making spinning sound

when the clutch pedal is up, I can hear something coming from the tranny, something spinning, like a bearing or something. But when I push the clutch in, it'll go away...any ideas?

yup the throwout bearing is bad. replace it. ONLY BUY A HONDA TO BEARING. i've had to re-replace more than a couple for friends because they bought a cheap *** autozone or advanced throw out bearing...
