Default Finally came in!!

Had some issues picking an exhaust for my hatch that's inexpensive (grad school) and will work for me sound wise. I chose the World Sport over the SP b/c of cost and it's gotten high marks from what I've read. Should have it installed by this weekend.

I'm thinking about painting the muffler black. I've got the paint and everything...I just haven't fully decided. I don't really like the bling thing. Your opinions??

Here's some pics:

This is how i felt about the scratches...sh@t!!

By the way, I picked it up from Titan Motorsports. Good, quick service and I also got my Ground Controls/Konis from them.

The piping will get more scratched after you put it on and go over those mean speed bumps.

i'm a big fan of the WS, i was going to get one for my dc2 until i found a good deal on the jdm version of the sp (trust BL). as for the color, i would say put it on first, see how you like it. the axleback section is pretty easy to remove to paint. thats what i did with mine, i've always been a fan of the sleeper look (like the RS*R ExMag), so one of these days i'm going to do mine. flat black gets a from me

I wouldn't paint it. It's an aftermarket exhaust system, it holds a certain value just the way it is. But once you flat black it, i think it would decrease the value of resale.

i'd paint another 2 or 3 coats on the piping....

i had a Greddy SP which had a rolled edge tip and i think it looked better when i painted the canister flat black and left the tip polished and it was used so i just did it. but for brand new, i wouldnt touch the muffler

but, really look into spraying the piping with 2-3 coats of high-temp paint (1200 degree)

I will definitely look into doing that. I'm assuming that I would just be spraying over the existing coating?
