Default 91 dx and 90 si starter differences HELLPP!!

hey, i have a 90 si that isnt running right now and my 91 dx just puked the starter. i pulled both starters in hopes of switching them but when i put them side by side, they are different. the guy who owned the dx before me was the type to use JY parts so im thinking this one may not be a dx starter at all... the si starter fits in the housing but majestic says they are different (different part #'s) could i just use my si one till the dx one is rebuilt or just use it and forget about it?
thanx
scott
BTW, i need to know soon. i need my car to get to school tomorrow morning

i have a 90 dx starter in my 89 si, it works fine, even though they don't look the same. make sure the bolts and the part that goes into the transmission is the same.
same goes with the wiring.
if thats all good, the starters fine.
