92 EX not starting!! All of the sudden!
HElp! my dad's accord all of the sudden decided it wouldn't start anymore!
He came back from a NC trip yesterday and the car was perfect, as it always is.
all of the sudden this morning the car woudn't start anymore, the engine turns but doesn't start. as soon as you try to start it you can smell a lot of gas coming from the engine bay. Any body got any ideas? where could I start?
Thanks for any help!!

After looking at it a little better today ... there is no spark, it cranks just as normal(like it does just before the engine starts) except it doesn't start...
I thought it might have been the Fuel relay, but please correct me if I'm wrong: IF the relay is bad it wouldn't allow the car to pump any gas, right? cause I do smell unburnt gas every time I try to start it.
at least now I know it's a sparking problem, if the distributor was going bad it would trigger the CEL, right? or not always?

Most of the time the no spark in an F22 motor is from the internal coil in the distrib.
If you have an external distrib. (very rare or only if engine has been changed) Again most likely the coil.
PM me and I can set u up with a replacement or with a person that carries the same new replacement coil.
