will the 96+ civic brackets fit on a 2001 integra? i just ordered some recaro brackets for my recaro...and im not sure if this fits perfectly because i just read a post saying the 92-95 civic bracket is what i want?

96-up civic seat stuff will not work on 94-01 integra.

 

The 96-up bracket sits to high and only three bolts will fit, it also sits crooked. The 92-95 bracket is what you want.

 

Man my back hurts!
I just swapped out set of JDM CTR Recaros from my 00ITR. The dum kid sold me the set claim it to be from ITR.
Well i found out that one the inner front one doesn't align so i had to forced it but the mount won't sit flat because inner rail is
a bit long. The other thing is u sit higher then stock. I drove for 2 months with this set.
This morning I final got a JDM ITR Recaros from 96specR and man, it fit perfect !!!
I felt funny because i sat lower like original USDM seats and i can see my bind spot on passenger again rear window!!
All my mirrors setting had to be lower!!
Now i have to sell the CTR Recaros, JDM srs Momo and the titanium shift ****. It end up to be a complete CTR interior set from japan. If anyone interested in Northeast area.

no they won't. just changing my SRD from my 00 Si to my new(for me) 98 ITR. called wedge engineering to find out if I could use the same bracket from thre Si in the R, but they said no. Ordered the new bracket and waiting for it to get here to finish installing it into the R. can't wait.

 

ok..will the usdm recaro srds make me sit higher than the stock ITR seats??curious..

 

I am buying the Recaro rail and have the bracket custom make, because many people told me that the Recaro bracket would make the seat sit higher than stock.

 

just get Vision rails from AJ....

 

i'm reluctant to recommend making your own mounting stuff, unless you know what you are doing. i had a friend who made his own to mount a recaro into his civic and he had an accident and the seat tore out of the mounts

if you are tall or wear a helmet, get vision. if not, get jdm itr recaro stuff. i know the latter is expensive but it's oem and it works.

 

I can't get the JDM ITR rail/bracket because I don't think it will fit on my EG2, since I tried to fit my stock seat on a EG6 and it doesn't fit. So I assume the DC/EG rail is different from the EG2.

I can get the Recaro rail at a good price and I will have a local shop that do a lot of custom seat bracket work for Porshce to make a bracket for me. So I hope it will all work out fine for me!!!

 

the brackets from Wedge engineering has provisions front and back via a three hole method to adjust for height and bottom seat cusion angle. I'll let you know when I get mine installed how they compare to the stock ITR seats/brackets. Brackets are like $65 from Wedge and I wouldn't risk making my own from someone just cobbing something up. go with a reputable firm so you'll know that they'll stay together in an event of an accident. literally.... it may save your ***.
