Default immobilizing the immobilizer?

I am looking for some help on immobilizing the immobilizer in my 1999 Prelude. I recently bought it used. The previous owner lost all keys except for one. Honda quoted me $600 - $800 to get more keys made. I knew it wouldn't be cheap. Is there a way to get a working key made up......or to immobilizing the immobilizer? The 'lude is a Manu-matic Sport Shift, and i want to try to get a remote starter installed on it. I am told I need more keys before they can install it.

Thanks
CK

No way it costs that much. All you need to do is provide the vin and proof of ownership of vehicle and the key is a lil under $50 at the dealer. And yes, you need a key in order to add remote start so the system can fool the car into thinking there is a key in the ignition.
