Default 93 accord ex lx tranny same or not

my tranny went out on my accord and i been looking for trannys and they always tell me that there is a difference between ex tranny and lx but nobody seems to know what is the difference . and my other question some retard who owned the car before me shoved a f22a1 engine in my ex , if i get the tranny should i go with the lx tranny ??thankx

either would work fine the only difference would probably be gear ratios. i would suggest going with a prelude tranny they are awsume with a close gear ratio and they bolt right up. I have one on each of my accords!
