We need to make a sticky. The title should read "B SERIES NO GOOD ON ACCORDS ABOVE 1988".

The B series does not make enough torque to move a car as big as the accord. As a matter of fact, a lot of Civic and Integra guys will even tell you that the car lacks torque. So I would just stick to an H.

Sure a Bseries will fit if all you are wondering is size, but the torque of the motor is not enough for the weight of the accords. I would say either swap in an H22/23 or turbo the F series in your car and swap on a vtec head. Do a search and you can find tons of information. IF you have specific questions ask. We are here to help.

Actually put in a D series so that you can fit a twin turbo.

Hope it helps.

Some kid tried to talk me into doin a b16. But I wasnt buying it. Stick to the H, man. h22 is the way to go. Ya already got a small engine for a mid-class car, dont drop to a 1 point whatever liter.
