1989 CRX Si in need of motor swap...
I'm getting to the point where I need to swap out the motor due to high mileage... and a little bit more performance so I was thinking about a ZC DOHC. Only problem is, I was reading that when you wire it the ECU throws a code (I don't want that.) due to the way you have to modify the distrib. plug. Is there anyway around this problem?
Are the ZC's good motors? This is just my daily so I dont need the B-series.
Also on the DOHC ZC, would a HF exhaust manifold bolt up? Or any D-series exhaust manifold for that matter.
Thanks
