2040 prop valve on 91 CRX????

2040 prop valve on 91 CRX????
I thought all proportioning valves on all CRXs with 4 disc brakes had 4040? I just checked my buddies and it's 2040??? Is this right?

CRX 90-91 Si = 4020 or 2040 whatever.
90-93 teg = 4040
my only conclusion to this is that the teg has slightly larger front brakes (the calipers have more piston volume).
other then that im confused as to why they are different, but they are infact different.
