i'm new to this, what the diff. b/w diff. model Type R's?

i'm looking to buy a Type R sometime next year and just wondering what exactly are the differences (if any) between the '97, '98, '00 and '01 Type R's? thanks. i'm also looking for reliability, how come there are a few posts here about blown motors that are non-turbocharged? thanks.

In the U.S.:

'97-98 = white (CW)
'00-01 = black (FBP or NHP) or yellow (PY)

97 = different bumpers than 98-01

97-98 only came in Championship white..

00-01 only came in Flamenco/Nighthawk Black Pearl and Phoenix Yellow.

The Phoenix Yellow Type Rs make 15whp more than the others, because of their color... hehe
