Its all finished and at 10:00 sunday night i drove it 100 miles back to school with no problems. Uberdata tuned it works great although i havent pushed it to redline its getting a steady AFR and has not gotten the slightest detonation even with my wastegate not working and boosting 15 psi numerous times by accident there is no problems and it idles like its not even running, **** made it 100 miles to shool and loved it....

oops dead battery lol

Ill have better pics soon...its ur turn

I was debating if i should paint it black or not..i might to throw people off a little more. Now that i tuned my map it is even faster but my ss autochrome wastegate (thought id give em a chance) sux so im boosting 13 instead of 8, not frequently tho. Im using the p28 it was real easy, got it chipped got a great basemap which i still have and then took some fuel away cuz it was rich and now it runs like it came with this turbo from the factory and is getting even better mileage. Uberdata is the best and easiest program to use, from my experience...oh yeah and its free. I am trying to get on the dyno soon, so i will have numbers, but my friend was following me in a bmw 540i and he said it was as fast if not faster and that was at a 10.5 afr (very rich) in boost according to my wideband, so things r good.

Nice setup!

What are the dimensions of the FMIC? Did you have any problems with fitment?

Oh yeah i forgot about that:
t3/t4 hybrid .48exhaust 57trim compressor
sfp manifold
ss autochrome wastegate-not working
custom made downpipe
tunertoys oil feed/drain line kit
PCV rerouting system w/morosso oil catch can
dsm 450cc injectors
home made charge piping
greddy type-s BOV
bkr7e plugs
johnnyracecar intercooler
p28 ecu chipped uberdata
techedge v1.0 wideband O2 sensor
walbro 255 fuel pump

I think that covers it

lol hmmm i forget the dimensions, except its huge, but by no means was it a perfect fit. The intercooler goes up about another 2 inches behind the bumper support which i had to cut and i couldnt use the brackets it came with i had to have brackets welded on that would work with the placement of the intercooler. Then i had to cut things off the back of the bumper and from the bottom so it would fit back on the car. In the end it came out very clean and i am happy with it there is nothing modified vissible from the outside. This intercooler works really well though and he has a variety of sizes available...running 8psi i probably didnt need one this big but im going to boost more later so i planned for that.

That is sweet man. That's all there is to say about it. Props to the install, that intercooler is mounted crazy strait. Love it. You should have done a DIY on it, I'm sure there are people out there who wouldn't mind a hand on this type of project, myself being one of them. haha. In any case, nice job and I look forward do seeing more pics of the car and hopefully a dyno slip.

hey man do you have more pics of how the IC piping was run? because im still debating how i should run my IC piping. I'm also planning on runnin uberdata as well but im gonna run a P06 because im f22b2. im trying to find a good basemap preferibly a little rich, i just need something to get me down the road to the dyno to have it tuned.

its good to see someone else going the homemade route. i should be finishing my steup in the next month.

I will take pics when i get ahold of a camera but right now im broke after the project, my friend took those pics, but basically if u move the radiator forward a little and then look str8 down where the AC and powersteering is ull see a space that a pipe can run down just ran one str8 down and then came around with a 180 degree bend from the intercooler and then atached with a half of a 180 bend cut to the right length. The left side is easy just down thru the hole already there. as for a base map i have one for an f22a which should be almost the same as your engine both non vtec and this one is tuned...but you really should get a wideband for safety and tune yourself, thats the goodness of uberdata. IM me at shabarab303 if you have any questions. ^ The S4 is my friends who took the pictures and it is very fast, its got the K04 turbo conversion, and a giac chip, he just got on the dyno and its pushing 300hp and 370 tq to the wheels!!!!!
