To post pictures you need to have them remotely hosted.... http://www.photobucket.com

Secondly, the red valve cover you're referring to is only a B Series valve cover, in other words it won't fit your D16. I also thought the only Mugen valve covers out there were either fake, or real Mugen ones. Both of which are a Tanish color, neither are red.

They are, from what I understand its under 1000. King Motorsports use to to distribute them and used them for their race cars.

Well I paid 800+ for my Mugen vc from King as well, never ever ever saw anything like that for the d-series or was it that maybe I didn't care to look.

Too bad Mugen didn't make those for the y8 head. That would look awesome on a boosted D series

$800 for a valve cover is rediculous. I wouldnt even buy it if the each individual spark plus wire hole was a vagina.

Technically Mugen does "not" make one as it's been discontinued for quite some time. There is no oil cap as it was designed for a series which prohibits tampering with a motor during the race. Also during endurance races they have had the plastic cap harden and crack. What I am curriuos about is wheather they removed the baffle plate in order to run a modified valvetrain ?

The red valve cover this guy is refering to can be found on ebay for about 80 bux.

personally for looks I just like either stripped silver (light steel wool is need to remove light discolorations still) or even better powdercoated all silver

oh man snap!!!!! mad tight comeback yo!

first off the red ones hes refering to are obviously fake. second that valve cover was probably not even offered to the public, i mean who wants a valve cover that doesnt even have a hole to put oil in??????? did you know they made d series valve covers?? probably not.
