Im thinking about selling my car.. Do you think I should keep it or sell it?
And if you think I should sell it how much you think I can get rid of it for?

actually jason.. nothing at all...
im planning to stop racing and showing sometime in the next year so the car will be collecting dust.
half of my friends tell me to sell, half tell me to keep. im confused.
so i seek the greater knowledge of the h-t beyond me

i dunno man, you know youll be losing ALOT of money if you sell that, and if you keep it and store it, itll still be of value and raise your personal value. as it is if your not gonna drive it, prepair it to be stored and store it somwhere safe, not a garage.

its a collectors item with all that stuff you put on there, so hang on to it. you never know.

 

If you sell it, your gonna grow to be one of those bitter old men with stories of this nice car they once owned. Now it will be a different story years from now to actually go out to the garage and pull the cover off that thing

But seriously, that is a work of art. Here is my advise: Put it into storage for a few months until next summer, and dont touch it AT ALL. Take it out once the weather gets nice, and drive it for a week. If you still want to sell it, then by all means. But chances are your gonna think back and be pretty glad you didnt sell it the winter before.

 

I would keep it but im guessing you probably have some cash with all those expensive parts I dont have any mugen or any spoon **** on my car cant afford any of that stuff but I would keep it cause like they said your not gonna get half the amount of money you spent on it and plus your gonna see someone cruising in your old ride hell no.

I would keep it b/c that car is one in a million that only you own, and no one else. That would be the reason why I would keep it. If you sold it I think that you would seriously regret it bad, especially when you saw somebody rolling your old car.

 

I would love to see some pictures. I bet the car is nice!! Good luck on your decision.

 

I get that "shall I sell it?" feeling also once in a while.. This is what you must do:

-rent or lent a slow POS car with the worst handling known to mankind.
-go for a 500 mile drive
-come back and pull the dustcover off your car and go for a drive
-you will never want to sell it, trust me

I think you should decide that on youself rather than asking people. You should decide what and why you want to sell the car. I mean you just want to get out of the car scene or you don't want to spend anymore money to it?

Moneywise? Cmon I went this far in spending money, Why start complaining now !?!?! i dont know maybe im just bitching cuz I have the oldest car in the crew and other personal issues... BTW Jeff I decided to not go with a hybrid motor. The motor cant handle my driving. Ive consulted with a few people already and they believe that also.

P.S. I think that you should keep it. I have kept all of the cars that I have ever cared about. It feels really nice when you take one out for a spin after not driving it for like 4 months. It feels like a new car.
