Default Reaching 10's?? N/A

How much power and weight have people had to hit 10's N/A...
I'm interested as I am hoping in the not so long future run into the 10's but want some sort of guideline of what I am going to need..
Currently my EG hatch has a track weight of around 1800lb's This includes me...
Although I dont have the power to push 10's yet..
I'm running a Stock JDM DC5-R K20A and 6spd Pushing just over 215whp,
Although I am just about to get the car Re-tuned with some TWM ITB's,

So far The best time to date is a 12.18 @ 114mph on an unprep'd track after rain... So a crap track... I ran 7.8 @ 92mph 1/8mile Unfortunately I wasnt given 60ft's on the day due to a computer timing error.. But at a guess I'd say due to conditions they wouldnt have been much below 1.9's... I have run 1.7's and a 12.4 @ 111mph with 20whp less power and an extra 200lb's..

So how much more do I need to gain power wise to make it and How much lighter do I need to be. I beleive Our weight limit is 1650lb's

I agree, although our car is a little heavier, we ran our first 10 at Fontana, weighing in @ 1810 lbs and making 263 whp and 174 tq

Cool thanks for the info... Hopefully I gain abit more torque and power from the ITB's then I will be getting a new header and Hopefully I will break past 250whp.. I already have 156ftlb's so I'm not to far off there...
I guess I might have to tube the front and get rid of some more weight and get a one peice front..

we did it in our car with 245hp and 170 in torque weighing in at 1675 lbs with me in it.
Must be able to cut at least a high 1.5 60' ... which is very possible as your car gets lighter the 60's can go down more as you dial in suspension.
