Default Recommended ecu for CRVTEC build up?

Now I know what crvtec.com recommends, but I don't have the green to get a hondata ecu, so if anyone has experience, personal or working with a friend building a crvtec naturally aspriated, what is a good ecu to work with? I know it will have to be reprogramed, for that matter I already have a p28 waiting to get its brains installed, so that's why I am asking. The build is a b16a head on a b20b with mid high compression, ctr cams and upped fuel supply. So any good info will help.

Yeah, most people use a chipped p28 ecu, depends on the year of your car also, you might need a obd2 to obd1 converter harness.

Well I guess it would help if I posted that I have a 93 civic and going with obd 1. I hear that rechipping the p28 is no prob, but which program is recommendable for a crvtec with b16a head, plenty of fuel supply, and mid high compression. Anyone have experence with their crvtec? Which program, any specs, and who did it?

well, i think that i woulg go with the pr3 if you got a b16a (1st gen) head & intake, fuel sys, etc. & mod it with reprogram if you are up for that
