I know they used to be very shaddy when it came to their motors. Lately I am not sure where they were getting them, but I know where they were getting their JDM motors and that was legit. If I were me, and I am, I'd go to Group5/AEBS. They are pricy, but they back their work and have real experience. Pann is more hit and miss in my experiences. I find they don't back their work, unless you are friends with them. Then again it is just a motor swap, its not that difficult. If you do go to pann, use a fake home address, just in case.

Go to 1320 in Oceanside. They are good and fair. My friend has his ITR swap done there for his 99 Civic EX.

What Dino said. I've had some experience with Pann and it hasnt been all great, then again I never trusted them in buying anything pricey, more of a need to get the part than by choice that drove me there a few times. My friend made the mistake of buying a JDM SR20 from them, and boy, what a regrettable experience. The harness cut to hell, several sensors not in working order, broken promises for its replacements and the list continued.

I went to there shop to do a diagnotic for some suspension problems. Their customer service is great. However, I think they are kind of shady about their parts as well. I would not recommend anyone going there for any engine swap as I heard a rumor that some stores that do swap for you may actually follow or maybe possibly go to your home and steal the engine back (thru the record that you gave them).

If you have a place to stay or don't mind spend a few days in LA, I would recommend ABCD in El Monte up in LA to everyone. They really do great jobs on engine swaps for Hondas and Nissans

I heard about this guy who went there to replace his stolen gsr motor and he noticed that the engine they tried to sell him had his VIN.

Yeah pann is shady, i would never leave my car with them. The only reason i buy from them sometimes is that there like the biggest supplier of race parts...
