What tranny do I have?

A friend of mine wants to get rid of a S1 tranny. That not an Si tranny but a JDM S1. What engine did it come off of? Kind of new to the game.

If it is JDM it came off of a b16, good for na cars, if it is USDM it came off a teg, good for FI, but not good for NA.

What kind of price would a S1 sell for? The guy told me to make him an offer so what do they usually run for, so I don't underbid? Thanks

They are usually in the same price range as the y1, i paid 325 shipped for my y1. That is for jdm. I sold my udsm s1(USDM integra) trans for 300 shipped. Only cost about 50 for the shipping and materials.

Thanks for the help. He's also got a hasport cable to hydro conversion kit which I'll need if I decide to buy it. What should I offer for it?

The kit cost 225 brand new, I would offer 150 if the parts are in good shape, if they were not, I would just buy a new one. http://www.hasport.com
