My issue is, at around 1500rpms to 1900rpms my sir-1 b16a makes a speratic ticking noise. but it goes away after i pass 2000rpms. i havent heard it close up, though
it sounds like valve lash; but wouldnt you hear that through the whole rpm band? could it be worn injectors or detonation? o and by the way, the noise pretty much goes away in humid weather conditions, its weird. i came up with a theory that its the injectors trying to compensate more fuel for the itr cams i put in recently or i considered it being the LMA's. my motor has made this noise even before the cams but now its just more distinct and i only hear it on light revving(no load).
