Default i was involved in an accident this morning

i had an accidnent this morning and my front bumper was ripped broken and theres a big dent on the front left side of my car right behind the head light is and a small dent on the drivers side door( about 2inches in diameter) and something underthe hood under my left headlight also got ripped off along with the front bumper...looks like somthing connected to the air intake. Im thinking about getting the car repaired, should i get the car fixed by honda or should i go to some other body shop. i live in New Orleans and the car that was in the accident was an 2004 accord coupe exL. if possible, could someone estimate how much its going to cost to fix it? ( the front bumper has to be replaced) and does anyone know a good reliable body shop in New Orleans or Metairie?

Sorry to hear man.

If you caught the hood at all and core support you are looking at 2-3 thousand. With the fender and door also being clipped it may be more then that.

yep, i have a 01 accord 4dr se front damage similar to your cost almost 2 grand and change with me buying the parts and them doing the fitment/paint. if you have a second car to get you around, you can check local junk yards for parts that can be easily replaced by yourself like a front bumper/hood/fender and the stuff that needs major work leave it to the shop to cut down on expenses.

you mean the black box??? im not sure about the newer gens but it should be the same,,, you can remove that and get a aftermarket intake for alot cheaper than buying a oem one like 30$ off ebay... eventually youll take that box out anyway if you go with a cold air intake.

no you dont need it, alot of people when the ysay "modified oem intake" they drill holes all over that box to pull in more cold air while maintaining the oem look. but for cold air intake users they completly remove that box.
