anybody done a vtec dohc sway into a 91 accord have question about the auto tranny tcu
i am about to help a friend put a 0bd 1 jdm dohc v-tec motor in his 91 accord. it is a automatic and so is the jdm motor. we ant to use the jdm tranny but it didn't come with the TCU(computor that controlls the auto tranny) my question is can we use the stock tcu and get the use of the jdm tranny. or do i need to find a jdm TCU.

You can use the stock TCU, but your shifting points will be limited to that Accord TCU specs. Instead of 7200 RPM (Prelude TCU), you'll be shifting at 6500 RPM (Accord TCU).
