Here's a few pics I took last Saturday on a little run through the mountains. I had a blast and made some new friends.
Sorry I don't have more action shots, but I was too busy driving and my girlfriend was too busy trying to remove the passenger door handle.
met at 10 am at short pump town center

Dominion Dave's little brother was driving this beast. And he drove it like a madman. crazy

my bucket

some of the other cars...

me trying to catch up after taking too long to get gas, lunch, cash, etc... (Serious Driver Face)

after the first run of twisties. you can almost smell the brake pads...

Dave and Zach (SoloSol) getting some video

the Captain of the Roadmaster

The only wound of the day: this kid made a wrong turn into a guardrail. we would later be held up in order to fix a split radiator hose in his CRX. He needs some new hoses...

the king, baby!

3 black Honda's. innit cute?

lined up for the next section

we decided to take it easy on this stretch of highway. It's a heavily policed area.

that lasted about 5 minutes. This bug was fast! and he had his daughter in the passenger seat. cool dad! he also bought us beers later.

this poor bastard was the only one to get a ticket all day. 93 in a 55, ouch!

you can just make out the R32 in this pic. he was very fast and a pretty nice guy too. Plus he brought his radar detector.

these guys were blowing by too fast for me to get any good rolling shots.

there's my house.

after our first of two runs over the last section of twisties.

The ride home was fun. I've never driven in a column of 12 cars down a back country highway. I can't imagine what all the people we rode up on thought. Felt like I was in a gang or something. heh.
That's it. thanks for coming.

I thought the same thing when I saw this car, but Ted's a real nice dude and this look totally fits his personality. I think it says. "**** you." He doesn't post on any boards or any websites, and he could care less what other people think of his car.
at least it's all functional parts.
(well, the wing...)

Teds car my not look like the clean "jdm" styles that we have all grown to love, but since hes a friend and not here to defend himself, I must at least say one thing on his behaf...
Its his style, he likes it.. .Hes quite the character and it fits him perfectly.
Next time you guys should come out and see how it runs. Very hard to keep up with. Dude will drive the color off those wheels soon enough.
