As some of you may know, about a month ago I had my entire car repainted nighthawk black peral. It wasn't some cheap paint job either, I went all out and spent quite a bit of money.

Since then I have not driven my car a lot because of the rain, and I just try to keep it in perfect condition. Well last night was a clear night, so me and a couple friends went to see a movie, and I drove. I parked far away from all the other cars to make sure I don't get any door dings, but I was still close to the theater. We came out and I drove home and went to bed. When I left for work this morning I went in my garage to get some water, and noticed a white streak on my hood. I thought it was just a water stain so I didn't think much of it, plus I was late.

So I walked to the bus stop and went to work. I was reading threads on a HT and I saw one in GDD about a car getting egged. Then I thought about my car. I started feeling really sick and dizzy about the fact that I spent so much money for paint, and my car may have been egged. I left work and came home to find this.









There is now an egg stain in the fender, and a large one acoss the hood. There are also scratches on the fender:



I just had to vent about this. Anyone have any other suggestions on how to get this **** off?

that's not going to come out. your clear coat is fucked up.

 

Damn that's horrible. My car got egged once but I came home 2-3 hours after and it was all still wet so I washed it off..

 

There is almost nothing you can do. I got my car egged 2 weeks after my new paint job, and there was nothing I could do to fix it, besides getting it repainted. I tried waxing, buffing, and claybaring it, and nothing helped. I just gave up on trying to fix it, and just deal with it now.

 

That sucks *** dude...i'm sure insurance will cover it though...

i would just take it to a shop and see if they can do some minor wetsanding and polishing..

Yea, but I don't think it's bad enough to go through insurance. I'll prob just buy a CF hood, and just deal with the fender. Maybe i'll get the fender repainted some day......

take it to get wet sanded and buffed. the wet sand might get don enough into the clear coat to help.
if that doesnt work then your stuck with it.

yep, thats how i felt when my blazer got egged, same scratches in the clear coat happened, but i didnt really give a damn about the car so i delt with em

 

thas super fuked up bro, hope it comes out... best bet would be to wetsand, than buff to see if its works!!!!

go get a professional detail, i think this will take all of the stains and swirls off

I have one, and my car is in it 6 days a week.
