Head gasket problem need help.

Default Head gasket problem need help.

I'm going turbo planing to run 8 to 10 lb of boost I just want to bring the compression down a bit. Does anibody know who makes a good thiker gasket, and how much $$$ it costs??? And is it a good idea?

If you go with a thicker head gasket it will probably advance your cam timing. I know when you mill a head it retards it so I would say that the oppiset would be true if you went with a thicker gasket. You need to look into it it that is what you are deciding on. I think that I would go with different pistons if I had the cash. good luck.

I know the pistons are a good idea but the turbo kit lets me run 8 lb of boost safely, with a thicker head gasket and ingectors could I run the 10 lb with out a big booooom, and kiss the piston rings good bye?
