i was ordering the 2.25 piping from kteller, but i was thinking i mise well order a new cat while im at it, cause mine is 170k old, but i was reading the archives, and it looks like catco and carsound do the job but are'nt that great quality and rot fast, and someone said just better off going with OEM, so i thought that sounded good, but if i got OEM, would'nt it be smaller diamter than my 2.25" piping and defeat the purpose of the flow? what is the diamater of stock cat on 91crx si?

and also is a hi-flow cat louder ? and if OEM is too small for 2.25, then whats a good quality proven brand? any recommendations? thanks in advance for any info.

i guess the main question was what is the stock cat diameter (piping) ?

and if i got a 2.25" aftermarket cat would it fit to my stock downpipe?
