New personal best!! wOOt
well yesterday at BOTI I managed to run a new best time of 10.78@134.64 in my daily driven 99 civic hatch..I made it all the way to the finals but lost to to white turbo R..I had alot of fun and my second place trophy is fine by me!! I cant belive I finaly have done it! I went 10.87 before but the website.. http://www.fastestfwdstreetcars.com/ was changed from 10.99 to 10.79 and I just made it this time!! here is a time slip to match the car number..
also a pic of the car...
I would also like to thank tom (camp1320.com) for being there for the little guys when they need small things like spark plugs! and I would also like to thank the crew of BOTI for running a GREAT event!
Iam sure there are alot of people here on H-T that can vouch for this being a street car (like camp) so please chime in if you saw the car..
I would also like to thank bubba personaly..if it wasnt for you I would never have made it as far as I have.. to you man!

car was weighed at a truck stop on the way out to the track and came in at 2530 with me sitting in it!!!
and yes the OBX lsd is kickin major ***!! here is a quote from someone that made me laugh hard...

anyways..THANKS all for the props Iam very pleased with my car and the greatest part was at the end of the day..a guy in a del sol that got eliminated and was loading his del sol up on the trailor saw us put the street tires back on the front and drive away..his jaw about dropped!! it was funny as hell!

i can vouch for david when he says daily driven and full interior. super clean car and hauls major ***. congratulations david on the new best time!!!
