Have question about 88 CRX suspension
I recently bought new monroe struts and adjustable coilover springs for my 88 CRX. When I installed them in the car, the top of the strut piston rod was sticking out above where it was suppossed to rest inside the engine compartment. My friend says that I need to have the top of the strut machined so that the threads go further down the piston rod, but unless I can figure out what to do, I think I might just go back to stock springs. Any suggestions about what to do would be appreciated. Thanks.
If it means so little to you that your cars lower that you would be willing to call it all of for such a simple thing you should probably just leave it stock, i think you will be a more happy person in the long and short run.
