Default tranny

before i start taking things apart i want to see what you guys think when im in 2nd gear going uphill there is this is this grinding sound but on flat there is not also when i turn theres a clicking sound i thiught it might be cv joints going bad but just wondering if this is the same thing or 2 different problems also what are some things i should check for ive checked my axle boots theres no cracks or tears but did notice axle grease on the firewall a while back should i go ahead and open up the tranny box cause if its just a bad axle thats not so bad

So anyway... the grinding noise might be a bearing, and the clicking is probably an outer cv joint.

I would also check wheel bearings.
