Comptech icebox or Injen CAI
im debating on which one i should get between the two. For the injen CAI, i could get it for 250 installed, dont know about the icebox. and the thing is i heard for injen, i have to cut into the fender line to install it. what do u ppl think ?
comptech: 250 and up. good airbox replacement. not susceptible to hydro-lock, just heat. carb legal. you can always buy the filter itself.
injen: 230 and up. great upgrade. not sure about modifying the wheel well liners, since i just bought a hand me down myself, not yet installed. maybe susceptible to hydro-lock, just be more careful. also carb legal. k&n replacement filter.
correct me if need be.

yes you do need to cut the fender well lining...i've had all four kinds of intakes for my rsx (comptech drop in, AEM SRI, DC CAI, and Comptech Icebox).
as for HP gains the drop in didnt really do much, and SRI was ok, but the one that made the most power was the CAI. the Icebox isnt that bad at all, i would say its right in between the CAI and SRI
