Hi there i have heard that the stock shocks are just as good as the koni shocks far as dampining is concerned and over all performance??? hope to hear from the feedback thanks

 

the stock shocks are very good, but a properly valved Koni cannot be beat (this is what I have been told by those who autocross with them, not my personal experience.) I may upgrade to the koni's but at about $800 installed (custom valved) for just shocks it is kind of expensive. (Maybe my pricing is off, but they are expensive.)

 

I assume you are talking about Integra Type R stock shocks

I have ITR shox and springs on My GSR with ITR springs and koni yellow adjustables. They are different for ITR's (Koni's that is from what I hear unless custom valved of course)

ITR stock shocks from what I hear are pretty good. It all depends on what you want to do with your car. They definately are better than my GSR ones. I didn't want to go t00 extreme with the shox spring combo so I am happy with this for now until I am ready to "advance"

This is somewhat related, although not really Koni, but...
a shock that is as good as the stock R shocks are the KYB AGX adjustable shocks.
Not saying they are better, well actually I think they might be.
Although they are not tuned specifically for our car, the rates are almost identical to the Stock R's on the lowest setting, if you saw the "shock dyno" graph, you'd be surprised!!
