Default H23 into 4th gen...seeking info

I'm sure there has been something covering this, so if you know of the thread, reply with the link and dont bother reading the rest

From what searching has given me:

The h23 bolts up to a prelude exactly the same way an h22 does, therefore, it should fit into my accord with no problems as would an h22. is this correct? thats my main question.

Any instructions on the swap/how to wire the ecu when its all done would be greatly appreciated. if what i said above about the 22 and 23 fitting the same is true, i can find at least 34 million guides to swapping an h22 into a 4th gen, so i really dont need any additional info unless what i have read about the 22-23 fitment is wrong.

Again, if you know of a thread/site that would address this issue, please reply with a link to it or some way to find it. Don't wanna get the veterans here mad cause my searching didnt get me where i wanna go. Thanks in advance.

Search on http://www.cb7tuner.com < It is a site dedicated to 90=93 accords. Lots of people have done this swap over there, and they can help you out

It's as easy as taking out the old motor and putting the new one in...

Use the accord mounts and the only thing you really have to wire up is the Knock Sensor and possibly the IAB if you have an LX or DX or a 90-91 EX...

Super easy swap...

Can you use the accord shiftlinkage or do you have to use a H22 linkage? Sorry for the highjacking but i thought since where on the topic of swapping it was good to ask.

Since all the F & H trannies are interchangeable... you'd use whatever linkage is intended for the car...

putting in the h23 is EXACTLY the same as an h22 swap (minus vtec wiring) so any h22 swap guide will work

They are completely interchangeable? So i could have a H22 long block and put everything from the F22 on it?

Sorry to the thread starter for highjacking your thread.

no...

The trannies are interchangeable...

The H22 has h specific parts like Header, distributor, etc...

The H23 can use F22 headers since it has the same exhaust manifold pattern... but it shares the same distributor as the H22...

Many things are interchangeable ebtween the F22A/B SOHC, the H23, F22B DOHC, F20A DOHC, H22 & F20B... but not everything....

But.. you can buy a complete longblock (with intake manifold, header & distributor, not a bare longblock) and just use your F22 transmission...
