Default 87 civic fuel dump

Pleeze help. My 87 civic rebuild ran great for 6 mos. Now, everytime I try to get it started, the compression goes way up... and the dipstick is 50/50 oil & fuel mixture. Changed out the carb. with a junkyard dog, changed the oil, reset the air/fuel and idle adjust screws & checked vacuum lines... Again, the compression and fuel/oil mix problem. Dun it 6-8 times.

if you're saying that you have 50% fuel in your crankcase oil, then your rings are fucked.

if you're saying something that has to do with carburetors, then I have no ******* clue.

I would second the ring motion, but for the fact that the compression numbers go up I think it is something else. What it is, I have no clue.

For those not familiar with the 87 carbed engines, your fuel pump is mounted on the distributor end of the head. The diaphram in yours has a leak, which is pumping fuel into the head which drains down into the oil pan. Replace your fuel pump and your problem will be solved.

Also, *exactly* what do you mean by "everytime I try to get it started, the compression goes way up"? Please be specific.
