9 Second Street Cars... Two New Members and 1 Legend runs quicker

9 Second Street Cars... Two New Members and 1 Legend runs quicker
Well today at E-Town Survival Series we had 2 new members in the 9second club
First was Felix Medina running 9.87 @ 147mph in qualifying.
Then in the Semi-Finals, Steve Lockett in his neon lined up with Felix, Felix spun a bit out of the whole, Steve was just out.... going 9.85 @ 145mph to Felixs 10.17 @ 148mph
Then Brian Ballard got a phone call from test n tune down at MIR and Jason was out running the coupe and he ran an amazing 9.69 @ 149mph in the COUPE!!!!!!!
I'm sure there will be more details coming from Jason and hopefully there is a video...
As for videos from Survival Series, I was racing, but Paul (FixAlpha) took my camera and shot some footage so hopefully he got all the magic runs.

I think i pulled out my back while jumping for joy when i saw Steve finally get his #... Good for him, he deserves it .... As well as Felix/Hector.. Hector is a hell of a nice guy...

9.69 weighting over 2500 pounds is pretty ******* sick. on a side note, charlie shaefer (car doctor/lisa kubo racing) ran his personal best 11.34 @ 120 in his all motor street crx as well. i'd say they had a damn good test and tune. lol.
congrats to steve, i know he has been dying to run a 9 and it was just a matter of time. way to go.

Congrats to Jason and Charlie on the awesome times yesterday. And also congrats to Steve. Yesterday was some nice weather, hopefully it will be good this Sunday.

Im a SPFWD/T-4 Pro-Am fan, so I got all of the runs for these classes. Even Terry's (incognito) pass when he blew his motor....smoke everywhere.
As usually, another great local event at E-Town.
Next season should be very interesting. (I say that every year at the end of the season....and it always happen)

Tim I hope you got some good vids from Paul. For some reason whenever he saw a chick he always turned on the camera!!!!
